Bryar Pistol (5D) - The Bryar pistol, made famous by Kyle Katarn, is a unique blaster pistol that is specially made for increased accuracy. The Bryar pistol is scientifically aligned to provide the most accurate firing blast possible, which is part of the reason why the weapon is so often used by mercenaries and some smugglers and pirates who do not want to carry enough firepower to take out a battalion and only need to make precise shots, if not terribly rapid shots. SoroSuub Controller Force Pike (STR+3D) - The force pike is a two-meter-long pole arm weapons topped with a charged power tip. Weighing barely seven kilograms, its light for its size. Allowing someone with sufficient training to manipulate the weapon with stunning swiftness. As typical of other vibroweapons the force pikes power cell energizes an ultrasonic vibration generator and so produces a distinctive low hum when activated. When set on stun, the force pike deals STR+1D stun damage.

Imperial Munitions Rampart II Shield Generator - this portable unit provides 6D character-scale protection to those behind the shield. These shields are currently configured to one of two settings, either closing off an entire corridor, or standing roughly 1.5 meters high, and stretching 6 meters wide, allowing ample protection while permitting return fire. When the shield is struck, roll 6D versus the damage code of the weapon fired. Null Sphere - a smoky glass-like sphere (nearly impossible to destroy) that resonates with a negative Force. These artifacts were created by unknown means for unknown uses and have only come to light from archaeological digs in areas where the culture largely self-destructed without a logical reason why. Basically, a Null Sphere has the effect of an Ysalimir, canceling out the Force in a specific area around itself. The degree of cancellation is variable, but usually extending several (up to 10) meters in diameter.
NOTE: Item must be declared at the beginning of sim to be in character's possession (like a Bobblehead article) and must be safely stowed away as to not impede Force use until such time as it is taken out of its protective confines.

Game Notes: A variety of pre-designed information learning modules are available on a wide variety of subjects (gamemaster should determine availability). Transference procedure takes between 15-30 minutes. Depending on the level of module content, its degree of technical or cultural sophistication, the user must make an Easy-Very Difficult Perception roll to effectively absorb the material. A successful roll means the user gains +1D-3D in that given skill or skill specialization if the character's skill level is below 5D (including attribute). The gamemaster is free to adjust costs, difficulties, skill bonus and maximum limits to any degree desired. The user may gain a benefit from a data module only once. The synoptic teacher is a favorite subconscious "brainwashing" tool of Imperial Intelligence and other organizations which may wish to plant posthypnotic suggestions in the minds of operatives without their knowledge or consent.

Carsunum Black Spice

Specifications: Carsunum users become more intelligent, faster, stronger, and generally more able. Users also experience a mild euphoria and increased confidence. This benefit has a dark side: after the effect wears off, users become listless, sometimes poisoned, and occasionally overdose fatally. Carsunum increases all abilities and skills by +1D for 1D hours. At the end of the effect, the user takes 1D damage for each hour under the influence (the carsunum bonus cannot be applied). Force skills and bonuses from Force Points are decreased by -1D per dose for the appropriate period. Carsunum was a rare and highly illegal spice variant mined on Sevarcos. Use of carsunum granted a boost of both mental and physical abilities as well as a pleasurable sense of well-being; however, once the spice hit ended, side effects could vary from jitters to death.
