Description:
Located in the remote wastes of the Onderon Highlands, Khameer Keep was the fortress and home to one of the Galaxy's most notorious Sith lords, Darth Nereus Vorn. Being a direct descendant of Freedon Nadd, Vorn established a cult of his ancestor at Khameer, where he also kept some of Nadd's more obscure 'relics'.
The keep itself was wrought of hardest granite and half embedded into a mountain of rock - making it vulnerable only from one side, and only if one could breach the chasm surrounding the exposed battlements. Tall walls were reinforced with towers guarded by zealot soldiers, day and night. Above the walls and over the buildings hung a dark sapphire-and purple cloud - undoubtedly some arcane Force aura that resulted from the sustained effort of many Dark side mystics. Overall, the keep presented an awesome sight and a warning against direct approach - unless expressly invited by its lord and master.
It was here that Vorn brought Y'arani Pell, Muriel's mother - and this is where his only daughter was born. After Muriel's timely escape from Vorn's clutches, the Sith lord abandoned his domain in favor of the galaxy at large, where he continued the search for his wayward child. Soon enough, the task of baiting and maiming Muriel became so all-consuming that Vorn decided to leave Khameer in the capable hands of his mystics, while he continued to chase after his prey.
After centuries of blatant neglect, Khameer keep fell into disrepair - even in spite of being looked after by Vorn's loyal servants. Still, Vorn did return to his birthplace one last time - in order to unleash the Keep's greatest kept secret - and give some ignorant 'guests' a small glimpse of the power and the genius, it harbored within ...
