While Matthias had helped procure am A280C variant, Kagan realized that he wouldn't be able to make the mods he had hoped for: too much had been stripped out to make it compact. While the A280C was popular with insurgents & SpecForces, he was neither of those...he was a line warrior. Still, he wasn't going to let Matthias' aid go to waste.

As it stood now, the E-11/S he was using was more useful overall for his needs, but if one of the crew could use an amplified A280C. then he'd be contributing to the war effort. After giving the schematics the once over, he realized he'd need a proper workstation to carry this out, rather that simply something he could do in barracks Still, it seemed feasible enough to try.
