A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

A group of Rebel agents has been assigned to accompany the great engineer Walex Blissex, designer of the Victory-class Star Destroyer, to Kwenn space station. Blissex, now a respected member of the Alliance, received a message from his son-in-law, Imperial Governor Denn Wessex, claiming that the engineer’s daughter is near death. Even though it appeared to be a trap, Blissex could not pass up this last chance to reconcile with his daughter. Whether Lira Wessex, who designed the Imperial-class Star Destroyer based upon her father’s previous work, is truly dying or not seems inconsequential. Upon reaching Kwenn Station, Walex and his Rebel escorts were captured and placed in the custody of Captain Kolaff, commander of the VSD Subjugator. Now, trapped within the detention block of the powerful ship, the Rebels have little hope of escape. They can only wait for the eventual return of their captors and the terrible interrogator Droid that is sure to accompany them . . .
For reasons not related to you, the Imperials have separated Walex Blissex from you, and you do not have any idea where he is. Presumably, he is somewhere in the detention block, as your captors no doubt wish to question him on his dealings ever since his disappearance from society after the Empire took control of the galaxy.

As this was a highly-specialized mission, with you having supposed to simply be escorts for Walex, but “in the lion’s den,” so to speak, you were all outfitted with gear from the Alliance’s stores, rather than your normal kit. This is fortunate, since, as you are currently “enjoying” the hospitality of the Empire, you have been stripped of all equipment, leaving you with only the clothes you wore on this mission.

EPISODE I: BLIND MAN'S BLUFF

After an indeterminate amount of time languishing in their cell, our heroes were rocked by a series of massive explosions, and thrown into pitch blackness. Atmosphere could be heard escaping into the vacuum of space.

Finding their way to the door of their cell, they discovered the maglock had been deactivated with the loss of power. After several attempts, they managed to open the door, and entered the corridor. Immediately thereafter, everyone except Braddoc noticed a light source approaching. As a result, everyone except Braddoc managed to duck into recessed doorways lining the corridor before four Imperial guards showed up, firing a blaster bolt down the corridor to aid in their ability to see in the dark. Braddoc "bravely" threw his hands up in surrender, and his move actually drew the guards' attention to him, rather than to the task of looking around for any other prisoners, which gave our stalwart band the opportunity to strike.

Jhann got his hands on one guard, and quickly killed him. Sulia successfully grappled another guard, stunning him. Barragh, using one of the guards' blasters, handily tossed his way by Lana Star, grazed a guard, who tried to bum rush Barragh. The Jenet easily sidestepped the enraged guard, who ran headlong into a bulkhead, knocking himself out

And finally, Marius successfully wrestled the blaster away from the final guard, and now currently has him facing the muzzle of his own weapon, and a very angry-looking Jhann.

CONTINUED: EPISODE I: BLIND MAN'S BLUFF

Our intrepid heroes continued forth from their cells, coming together to face their foes. Marius, at least, had the foresight to take the uniform of one of their captors; at least HE would appear as though he belonged there. His apprentice, Cal Jeth, knew he was too tall to fit in any of their uniforms, and so left them for anyone else who might choose to avail themselves of the chance. Strangely, no one else did...

After freeing Blissex Walex from his cell, and vanquishing the Interrogator Droid in his cell with him, the strapping young Arkanian stepped up to help the aged engineer escape this place. As they group approached the control room, they were accosted by a couple more guards.

Icelus raised a Lesser Force Shield as a blaster bolt headed his way. The Arkanian, helping the engineer to walk, brought the elder into the LSF, and thanked Icelus for providing the respite.

Raine used her abilities to render one of the guards' weapon an unusable lump; she then tried to render the other guard unconscious with a Telekinetic Push. However, this failed, and she killed the man.

Sulia got within range, after a couple failed attempts to stop the conflict. Her dander up, she reached out with the Force, and used it to Inflict Pain on the sole remaining opponent. (Naughty naughty!!!)

Raine, in an attempt to end the man's suffering, tried to do so by knocking him out with a Bolt of Force. However, she once more failed to rein in her power, and definitely ended his suffering, by killing him.

With the immediate threat gone, our heroes have a chance to breathe now. TO BE CONTINUED!!!

EPISODE I: BLIND MAN'S BLUFF

Our stalwart band of heroes have taken a breath, searched their surroundings (with Lana trying to hog ALL the rations, I might add. Good thing there were more than she could carry), and moved on. They found and opened the doors to the turbolift shaft. Before descending into the bowels of the ship, Blissex came to his senses, and told the group of a computer work station nearby that would suit their immediate needs.


Marius, Rayhu, Phoenix, Sulia, and Raine have reached the level below; the rest, including the engineer, are still traveling downwards.

EPISODE I: BLIND MAN'S BLUFF

The intrepid heroes, along with their new bestest pal/Engineer Blissex, have headed deeper into the bowels of the heavily-damaged Star Destroyer. The elder gentleman finally came out of the semi-conscious state inflicted upon him in his encounter with an Imperial interrogation droid, and was now able to move fully under his own power. At his suggestion, the group made their way to a computer workstation, where they learned not only how severely damaged the massive ship was, but also that the captain had given orders to rig the ship to blow in three hours!

Having designed the ship, Blissex asserted that he could change the countdown, and cause the vessel to blow an hour earlier than the Imperials expected, which would still give the group time to get to a hangar and escape before the big bang. On the way to accomplish this, however, the crew was set upon by half a dozen stormtroopers; fortunately, the opening salvo from the white-clad troopers succeeded only in leaving blast marks on the walls and deck plates of the corridor.

Lana successfully divested three of the stormtroopers of their blaster rifles, taking one for herself and depositing the other two at her feet. Mirran wounded one, but didn't drop him. Icelus unleashed hell, sending a barrage of Force lightning into the entire group of troopers, intent on making them crispy critters; his attack, however, seemed to not affect the trooper furthest away from the group. Barragh, suspecting the trooper must have been wearing rubber underwear, took matters into his own hands, using his purloined blaster to fire two shots into the trooper, felling him. And Cal picked up one of the E-11 blaster rifles, and moved to stand between Blissex and the troopers, on the off chance one of them either tried, or accidentally managed, to get off a shot at the Engineer.

With five troopers currently doing the Electric Boogaloo, and one down, the session came to a close.
