CONFERENCE Virtual Tabletop (VTT) Software

We are currently experimenting with a couple of browser-based virtual tabletop systems**, so we can add interactive maps and tokens to our RP adventures. Here are the features of the two systems we are considering:

During the session, we will be covering the basics of the following:

1. Character (Sheet) Creation
2. Dice Rolling & Dice Template Creation
3. Audio Settings (mic is optional; headset or earbuds would be very helpful)
4. Anything the players can think of - a Q&A period!

I am concerned for the overhead. Ultimately all we really need are the first three items, right? Is the plan to not use the site chat or discord altogether, or use these solely for the map while we chat as normal elsewhere?

Correct. This VTT software would be used for mapping/tokens only so that everyone, including the GM would be aware of PC positioning most of the time.
