The night was quiet, Urs thought. As the car plunged deeper and deeper into dimly lit streets of New Babylon, it felt to her as if the entire city was suddenly muted. The car too, was eerily quiet. After she told Elena about the fate of her Sire, Ursula fell silent with nothing more to say. The younger Toreador also kept quiet, but then again, Elena never went out of her way to be social with her. And Urs did not like to push. It only backfired, creating an even deeper rift between the two women.

And in human terms, I am younger than she is - or rather, I was younger when I was embraced. How ironic... that now I am tasked with playing a mother-figure to this imp.

She did not dislike the Romanian girl, nor did she hold it against Tristan that he had chosen to embrace Elena against her advice. Needless to say, the situation in which all three of them found herself was not to be envied. And if either Elena and Tristan thought she was being blind to their schemes - really - they had another thing coming.

The car hit a sudden dip, accompanied by a loud noise and a mutter behind the security screen - the driver apologizing for having hit an unexpected pothole.

Although Urs was initially startled by her body jerking forward, she did not rebuke the chauffeur and merely leaned back in her seat once again, grateful for the invention of seat belts. Glancing sideways, she saw Elena continue to type on her phone, oblivious to everything and anything. Typical. It was almost as if the young woman never got out of her teenage years. And Urs was expected to act the more mature one to this 'senior' next to her? Hah!. Smiling to herself, she turned to watch the blandness of the street, trying not to think of the fate that befell her lover earlier tonight and hoping to reach the safety of home, soon enough.

The Brotherhood of Orion had been steadily infiltrating New Babylon for a while now. David Stern had eyes and ears throughout the city, and after the outing of a few double agents in their midst, the remaining eyes and ears of the Brotherhood were surprisingly loyal. The route that David had decided to take was quite simple. His eyes and ears through the city - were the homeless. Every city had them, and for the most part they were completely ignored. It was this willful ignorance of the less off that David used to his advantage.

One of these lost souls was outside St. Michael's Cathedral. He was warming himself at a fire barrel when he saw some sort of commotion coming from the church. He knew that some sort of shin dig was happening there that night - having been chased out of it hours earlier. He was angry that his home was confiscated by some bald guy but he knew when not to fight, and he knew not to fight the guy. So instead he went across the street to some of the others of his kind, and tried to stay as warm as he could.

What his friend's didn't know, was that he had a job. It just wasn't one that you paid taxes and filled out a W-2 for. Some religious guys had talked to him about the evil that was in the city and how they were trying to fight that very evil. They had given him pictures of some of the rich people that acted like they owned the city. He thought the bald guy might have been one of those pictured, but he wasn't sure. It was then that he saw a face that he DID recognize. A lovely blonde woman and another equally lovely dark haired woman were escorted to a black limo and after being ushered in, the limo sped off. He memorized the license plate, and walked off a bit.

Once he was out of sight of the others, he pulled a burner cellphone from inside his raggedy jacket, along with a picture of a blonde woman - the very same woman that had just gotten into the car, and who had occupied his dreams as of late. That the dreams were always lurid and perverted mattered not. What mattered was the money that was promised him if information that was provided led to the capture of one of those pictured. He took the phone, and hit speed dial one.

The phone rang twice and a voice answered. "This is Watcher Six, report." The homeless man took a moment to try to remember what his code name was before speaking. "This is Rabbit...Rabbit 24. I just saw..." He looked at the picture again. "I just saw Target #4 get into a blacked out limo leaving St. Michael's Cathedral. License plate 6 Tango Romeo Juliet 2 4 4, heading west along Circuit Drive. Only saw a driver and one other possible VIP with her, a female." The Watcher took all this information down. "Very good Rabbit 24. Dispose of your phone and see your handler in two days for a replacement. Watcher Six out."

The homeless man just shrugged as the line was disconnected. He walked back to his friends, and tossed the phone into the flames...

--------------------------------------------------

Whilst he was doing that, other's were taking action on his information. The woman who took the information passed it on, after checking a map of the city. She dialed another number, this time on an encrypted phone. "Angel Seven, this is Watcher Six. Possible Kindred target near your location..." She passed on the details of the limo to the man, this one a member of a two man team riding around on a motorcycle. He spoke into the Bluetooth headset linked to his phone. "This is Angel Seven, moving to begin search for the target." Before he could cut the line, he stopped at a stop sign - just in time to see a black limo dash past in front of him. He quickly glanced at the license plate - it was a match.

"Target acquired."

The Brotherhood of Orion now had eyes on Ursula and Elena's limo. And the Lion's were closing in...

--------------------------------------------------

Stephen Tieg took the call from Watcher Six and made a detour, heading for the location of the limo. He had being doing a supply run and was currently driving a 24 foot straight truck that was rented from Penske. In the back was four other members of the Brotherhood - along with a small arsenal of weapons. Including the new incendiary ammunition that they had smuggled in from the East Coast. Each man was armed with shotguns with the Dragons Breath rounds. He pounded on the back wall, the little window opening up as one of the men asked what was up. "Change of plans. High Value Target spotted. We're going to intercept. Lock and load!"

The van made it's way towards the limo as more phone calls were placed...

--------------------------------------------------

"Copy that Watcher Six, Eagle Four is ready." The sniper killed the call and quickly relocated to a different corner of the abandoned apartment building. The building wasn't really abandoned, but no one lived there and the owner hadn't been there in over six months. So it was perfect for the purposes of this Brotherhood sniper and his spotter. Getting settled in their new spot, the spotter opened up her laptop and pulled up a map of the city. On it was the location of the spotter following the limo. It was updated every ten seconds..and it was coming their way.

Sighting down the street that the limo should be coming down, the sniper slowed his breathing as he slid in the 10 round box magazine of the M82A1, and racked the slide. He sighted through the Leupold 4.5-14x50 Mark 4 Scope, and saw the black limo. He knew it was his target because he could see motorcycle with it's two riders behind the limo about a block away. Just as he saw the motorcycle, he saw the Marshall's yellow straight truck turn the corner and get in formation behind the bike.

Sighting in on the limo, he set the reticle on the engine block of the limo. Taking a breath, then exhaling, before taking a second breath and letting that out, he held his breath with no air in his lungs - and fired.

With a crash like thunder, the rifle rocked and spat out a silver tipped 12.7x99mm NATO round at 3,029ft/sec. Covering the distance in less time it took for the slide to cycle and prepare the next round for firing, the silver tipped incendiary armor piercing round slammed into the engine block of the limo, instantly wrecking the crankshaft, causing the engine to seize and fail. The limo immediately lost power and swerved to the right, slamming into a light pole. The sniper stayed sighted in, as he watched the motorcycle and truck park. Brotherhood soldiers jumped out of the truck, all with shotguns. In their lead, the Marshall himself, Stephen Tieg.

As the men moved in, Marshall Tieg took an small device from the truck and activated it. Now no cellphones within a hundred yards would work. The occupants of the car were truly on their own as his men and women moved in...

As the car swerved sharply onto the sidewalk and hit the nearby light post, Urs was knocked out - albeit briefly. Coming to moments later, she could hear shouting and hushed voices alike, movement of feet outside and then all of the sudden - everything went silent. Lowering the privacy screen, Urs looked to the driver of the car, who was readying himself for assault, which they both felt sure - was coming.

"How many?" She asked him, expecting the man to know. After all, he was not knocked unconscious, and he was also their bodyguard. It was expected that he knew things Urs may not have otherwise grasped instantly. "The Circle...??" The word nearly died in her throat. If this was yet another Maledictus threat, they would probably not get out of here alive.

The chauffeur shook his head sharply. "No, mortals." Urs nodded once, then looked to Elena. The other Toreador seemed to be getting loose from her safety restraints and looking frantically throughout various compartments - supposedly attempting to find objects that could be used for self defense?

"They are not Kindred, Elena. We should be able to fight them off, as long as they don't have ridiculously superior numbers."

Elena seemed oblivious to suggestion, causing Urs to shrug. If anything was going to happen, she would have to make it happen, herself. Grasping at an empty bottle in one hand, she sat back in wait, expecting someone to open the LOCKED car door. Otherwise, they'd just sit here until someone rescued them.

RESCUE!!

Realizing she could call out for help, Urs moved to access her smartphone, finding that it was... well, dead. She chucked it off to the side, delicate face emitting a frown of pure disgust. So much for communicating their predicament. It was time to get ready for whatever was coming, even if Urs had no idea what that something was. Or rather, how bad it was going to get.

"Elena, we must get ready for the inevitable..."

What? Why...? Where? Who..?

Elena's thoughts was a myriad of confusion. She ignored Ursula's pointed glance and continued to search for items that could possibly hold off whoever was after them. Mhmm. She was not stupid and knew a hit when it happened. Right now, it seemed that whatever enemy was totally focused on her or her vampire stepmother. Nope. As far as Elena was concerned, they were not going to get a piece of her, however hard they tried.

"Elena. Run home or run away. Just run. Be free, and make sure they cannot catch you. It's what Ttistan would have wanted. Do it..."

Seriously? Urs was pushing her to maker herself free. Independent. If that was even possible.

"No. You haven't told me the whole truth. I can't leave without knowing. What has happened to my sire? What is going on, NOW?!"

Ursula kept silent. She expected Elena to understand what happened to Tristan and deal with it, regardless. Unfortunately, Elena had a much stronger sense of self-preservation than this. She as not about to take all of this information, laying down. She wanted to react knowing that the former was pointless. Still, she felt angry. And she felt quite disadvantaged at the whole thing - the situation that made them all feel but infantile.

Feeling tempted to ask for more information, Elena fell back into the seat as if giving up. Except she was far from doing so...

The men and women of the Brotherhood moved in on the limousine, AA-12's up and aimed at the car. As they moved in, the driver's side door opened and the Kindred driver within charged at the enemy. He was quick, using Celerity to his advantage - but he was going up against trained Hunters. The first few rounds from the driver's Skorpion sub machine gun hit one of the female hunters, causing her to grunt from the impact on her Kevlar vest. Her two companions returned fire.

Blasts of incendiaries lashed out at the Kindred, full auto shotguns pummeling him with shot after shot of Dragon's Breath rounds. Within a few short seconds, the driver was down and meeting his Final Death as fire consumed his body. Marshal Tieg gave the coup de grâce to the Kindred - though a blow of mercy it was not. Using an under slung pneumatic launcher, the Marshal shot a six inch wooden stake through the driver's back and into his heart. Now, he'd be unable to move as he was incinerated.

With the driver down and out the way, Stephen directed his Hunters to the rear doors. The two from the motorcycle moving to the right side of the car, and the crew from the truck moving to the left. All guns were aimed at the occupants of the back seat. One errant twitch, one wrong move, and the back seat of that limo would be filled with so many of the Dragon's Breath rounds, that Stephen would have to place a replacement order for the specialized ammunition. He walked up after reloading his stake launcher, and tapped on the window.

"OUT, NOW! HANDS HIGH OR DIE!"

Damn it! Why did she have to start these kinds of conversations now? Although Ursula could no longer see the driver, she knew something was absolutely wrong. If he had been successful warding off whoever was out there, he would have been back by now. Instead, she could only hear groans punctuated by one final sound - of something - some object, propelled through the air at maximum velocity. It could have been a stake launcher... In fact, it probably was - Kindred did not usually use such methods against other Kindred. And if this was Maledictus staging some kind of an attack, they'd have simply subdued the driver and taken him prisoner.

The chauffeur's body slid to the floor, lifeless for the moment. Good thing neither Urs or Elena saw that or their reactions would have gotten them into similar trouble.

The elder Toreador nearly jumped when a hard tap on the window along with a shout, commanded them to egress from the vehicle.

"Sorry, Elena - I guess I'll have to tell you another time. If...there is time."

The situation was already grave and Urs had no intention of having Elena panic in the wake of the truth she wanted to learn about Tristan. Reaching out to the latter, she squeezed her hand briefly.

"We will face whoever this is, outside, now. We cannot remain here - they would only break down the windows and get us out, anyway."

Of that, Urs had no doubt. If they showed no mercy to the driver, there was little reason they would show any, to the passengers. As such, she unlocked the doors and pulled the latch, releasing it - then pushing it out slowly.

"We are coming out now, and we are unarmed. Don't hurt us..."

Sliding out of the car, the Toreador left the baseball bat behind, letting it roll under the driver's seat on the floor. She did not want to give off any signs of hostility, curious to learn the face of her aggressors. Hopefully Elena wouldn't start her own brand of trouble - not that Tristan's Childe could be controlled in any way - as these attackers were to find out, soon enough.

Sorry? She was sorry? Is that all?

"Don't even--"

This evening was turning stupid. Annoying, too. Who the hell would dare attack the wife and the Childe of the head of Vindicta, anyway? Outside of Maledictus, she could think of no one. The Brotherhood wasn't desperate enough to get killed, were they? Then again, desperation and ignorance drove people to commit even more shortsighted mistakes; this could very well be one of those times.

"Yeah, whatever. Can we just snap their necks and get on with it? I'm not in the mood for this shit."

On top of this whole clusterfuck, her left stocking had a run, and she hated it. Pulling off her black wig, she let her dark brown tresses tumble loosely about her Sleeping Beauty costume; she would make little effort to look good, now that her outfit was no longer perfect. Plus, not like these idiots outside could appreciate it, anyway.

She got out on her side of the car, deep frown marring otherwise perfect features.

"What. The. Fuck. Hmm?"

She did not see the chauffeur's fallen body just yet, as the silhouette of the car had obscured it. Leaning on the side of the vehicle with her chin now embedded in one of her slender forearms, the Toreador rolled her eyes.

"Who are you people and what do you want? Do you even know who you're fucking with? I suggest you put down your weapons and be on your way while you still can. I'm offering you a one-time choice."

Elena knew well she was in no position to make demands of any kind. But she'd be double damned if she followed in Ursula's footsteps and tuck her tail between her legs, awaiting whatever sordid consequences these dweebs were about to unleash.

There was nothing wrong with having the Abyss at your beckon call. Having shifted through a multitude of cars aligned by the curb, she chose at long last, the limousine carrying the form of a Kindred chauffeur, and two Toreador females. She remained in her Tenebrous form, making herself terribly small, so not visible to Kindred eyes - especially when camouflaged within other shadows naturally cast by the innards of the car.

Thus she spent part of her trip, curled up on the front passenger's side doormat.
Truth be told, she'd experienced far worse means to travel.

But then, her hitchhiking came to an abrupt end. There was shooting now, and a lot of shouting. People converging on the vehicle. Shifting outside the door, Storm slid under the belly of the limousine, slowly rising behind Elena, but still in the near invisible Tenebrous Form. Her whisper was low, only audible to the Toreador's ears. With any luck, Elena wouldn't get freaked out by it or completely ignore hearing it.

"I can help you, but only you. Lean your head back and toss your hair, if you accept..."

Pending Elena's acquiescence to Storm's request, the Lasombra would weave the Shroud of Night, enveloping both. From there, it would only be a short distance to safety - one covered in shadow that played so well with the thick, rising fog of a warm winter night...

As the blonde Kindred acquiesced to the Marshall's commands, he none to gently pushed her down on her stomach, sticking his shotgun into her back as another Hunter in a red jacket moved towards Elena. Looking to the blonde woman, Tieg spoke calmly to her. "Don't move and I won't need to put this stake through your heart. Understood?" He didn't give her a chance to reply as he called over to his other Hunter. "Get that one secured. Stake her if you have to!"

The Hunter raised his shotgun at Elena as he came around the corner of the limo. "Be a pretty little sucker head, get down on the ground. Or don't. I don't mind setting you on fire then putting a stake through your heart and leaving you to burn. Makes no difference to me." He gestured to the ground with his AA-12, the twin stake launcher slung under the barrel pointed ominously at Elena.

Through all of this, the sniper just continued to watch through his scope, his sights set on the so far uncooperative vampire. She didn't look that bad, for an undead abomination. He simultaneously chastised himself for the thought - and made a mental note to tell Erasmus about her. He liked dark haired women.

Unable to see who was whispering to her, Elena faltered. Still, the guys with guns seemed the real and present danger while this offer... well, she would end up owing whoever this was a favor - big deal - but at least she'd be able to get away. Urs would just have to rely on her own feminine charms to talk her way out of that one. At worst, she'd be home tomorrow night. Leaning her head back, Elena tossed her hair.

"Suit yourselves. I've got no more time to waste on you, anyway."

Waiting to see what would happen, the Toreador braced herself for the mysterious unknown.

Perfect. A favor gained with the only Childe of Lord Protector of Vindicta - that could take things far, one day.

Concentrating on her power over the Abyss, the Lasombra twisted shadows with her mind, calling forth the winding tentacles known as the Arms of the Abyss and directed them toward the lone hunter in Elena's vicinity. These mortal idiots would never did see things coming. As the tentacles moved to trap the man's limbs in their barely visible vines, Storm hummed softly as she extended the Shroud of Night over herself and Elena, pulling the Toreador into the waiting darkness.

The area containing the two would soon bask in a cloud of unnatural shadow that obscured all light, sound, and heat. Soon enough, the Toreador would fade from the Hunters' view, leaving Ursula to fend for herself...

Nodding, Urs understood. These thugs were definitely not from The Circle. They had to be Brotherhood, or some other hunter party. Although these seemed well organized. Almost too well. Only Brotherhood of Orion were this efficient. She'd have bet Elena on this one, except...

Elena was once again, spewing pointless threats. It would only anger their captors and possibly cause them to be more unpleasant toward them, women or not. Orion was not know to differentiate much between Kindred sexes where torture and captivity was concerned. And they rarely took prisoners, she reminded herself grimly. Were they about to meet their untimely end, here and now?

"Not moving," she murmured to the man, keeping her arms up and hands clasped on the back of her head. "Elena, I suggest you follow their orders. Elena?"

Oddly enough, there was no response. The chatterbox vampire not only ceased to speak but also felt...like she was no longer here. Not about to turn around and check, Urs bit her lower lip in confusion as to why she was still standing and not staked, decapicated or set on fire. "What do you intend to do with us?"

Stephen smiled inwardly. He had never captured a Kindred before. Murdered and destroyed, yes. Captured? Never. "Good. We're going for a trip. Be a good little girl and you'll make it in one piece." He looked over to where the other Kindred was...or should have been. All he saw was his man coiled up in some sort of shadow tendrils. The other Kindred, was gone. He pointed to the nearest Hunter. "Cover her!" He indicated Ursula as he went over to his incapacitated Hunter. Just as he got there, the Tendrils disappeared and the man could move again.

"Report. What the Hell was that?"

"I don't know Sir, I was preparing to grab her, when suddenly these shadows just wrapped me up and she disappeared into another one. Then nothing." It was clear the man was shook. Patting the man on the back, Tieg ordered him back to the truck. Holding his left hand up with one finger he made a whirling motion. It was time to get out of there. "Pack up our cargo and let's go. We're leaving."

He went back over to the blonde vampire, taking her by her upper arm. "We're gonna sit in the back of the truck, and I'm gonna cover you until we get back to base. Then I'll let the Grand Master decide your fate." Tugging her along, he got to the back of the truck. It didn't have steps or a lift gate. He ordered her up and into the back whilst other Hunters covered them. He shoved her by her ass to get her to move faster. Once they were inside, he'd sit across from her, the AA-12 leveled point blank with her chest, the stake launcher aimed directly over her heart.

"Do not move, and things will go smoothly. Try anything, and I'll stake you to the wall of the truck. Understood?" He had a feeling this one wasn't going to try anything, but he had to keep his bases covered. He'd start to see if he could get any information out of her. Once the rolling door of the truck was down and it started moving, he'd start talking to her. "So, my name's Stephen. What's yours?"

I am alone...

How exactly Elena vanished from scene, Urs did not know. She did not even want to speculate at this point - what good would it do? Would Tristan's Childe let Wasyli know what happened? Or anyone else, for that matter? This was not a situation Urs could simply talk herself out of.

"Yes," she replied to Tieg quietly. Maybe he was the one that would bring about her Final Death? There was a time where she longed for it, dreamed of it, desired it with every part of her undead being. But now...?

She did not mind being man-handled, her ass being grabbed and shoved to move. Once in the vehicle, she was forced to put up with the man's gun pointed straight at her heart as he sat across from her. A part of her did not care. Not like she was about to stage a sudden get away stunt.

It was easy enough not to move. There was no need to do so. Nodding her understanding to another threat, Urs waited for the vehicle to start moving. Maybe if she used her other senses, she could determine what general direction or area they were going into? In the meantime, the man across from her pulled a surprise introduction, demanding her name in return. Odd that they did not know whom they were transporting? Was the Brotherhood so ignorant, they had no information on one of Erebos' Triumvirate Leader's wives?

Granted, she was the only wife. The others were unattached, but then again Tristan was very different from the others. It was why she loved him, after all.

"My name? Ursula Bellefleur," she responded without meeting Tieg's gaze. "I would like to say it's a pleasure to meet you but I would be lying."

There she was, the little lamb threatening like a bull. For all the good that would do, considering who had captured her.

Stephen didn't let his surprise show at the name. To catch a Vamp was one thing, but to catch this one? It was either very good or very bad luck. Depended on how the head honcho Kindred responded to this. Time to show her he wasn't entirely ignorant.

"Ursula Bellefleur you say? Owner of the Crimson Lights. Nice club, not my cup of tea though. Your whiskey is watered down. Actually married to another vampire. I'm surprised, usually you Kindred don't play well with others. Must be a mutually beneficial arrangement for both of you. You're too well dressed up for just a night on the town. You must have been coming from that little party you had at St. Michael's tonight. It's too bad we weren't able to show up, like last time. There'll be others though."

He didn't smile or smirk at the woman. He wasn't bragging about the information he had, just letting her know he had it. The Brotherhood had eyes and ears everywhere throughout the city. That WAS enough information to let her know he wasn't the ignorant walking, talking meat bag she probably thought he was. He held no rancor towards her at the moment. To be honest, she was quite civil and it was strange actually holding a conversation with a Kindred, instead of trying to shove a stake through it's chest and cut it's head off.

"And thank you for not lying to me. That decision will play well for you, later." He continued to sit there, his gaze not wavering, his eyes boring into her soul...if she still had one that is.

Storm led Elena through the shadows, the Abyss making its presence here on earth, by her command. She felt its darkness seep into her bones, her flesh, her very psyche... not a small price to pay, every time she called upon it. In fact, where Elena Moceanu was concerned, it was likely too large a price. Why was she doing this, again?

"This way..."

Now was not the time to consider the consequences of growing ever more damned. Not like it mattered. Both of them were damned enough.

"Only a few more seconds..."

Another alley presented itself now, one with many nooks and crannies, even side alleyways to go into. Plenty of places to hide. Commanding the shadows to recede, Storm flickered into existence and, standing next to Elena, smiled at the Toreador brightly.

"Go home."

Before the other woman could respond, the Lasombra was already gone.

Go home...

"Really?"

Thanks, I guess??

Elena's words called out to the darkness, after being dumped in some complex alley wreathed in darkness and shadows. Good place, as any, the Toreador thought. Safety in shadows, she reminded herself, looking up into the night sky. The fog was not as dense here, she had to be farther away from the river.

Hand dipped into her pocket, searching for a smartphone. Ducking into an alleyway, Elena wasted little time relaying a message to anyone who would have cared that Urs was taken alive, from the car they used to get home. Having texted the people she thought would give a shit, the young Toreador began to move, putting as much distance between herself and the scene of the abduction, as possible.

It was time to go home, just as Storm suggested. That was Storm? Yeah, she was convinced it was. She knew her Tenebris people quite well, and the blonde Lasombra stood out quite well. Lasombra. LASOMBRA! In Erebos??

"No one else commands the shadows this way."

Oh my fuck...

She had to let people know. She had to let someone know. But first and foremost, she had to reach the safety of her haven. Quick footfalls accelerated her movement to the next main street, where she would simply hail down a cab and then make her way back to the Krauss Estate, hopefully undisturbed.

Elena exits scene.

Fuck, fuck....FUUUUUCK!!

The girl would put the two and two together. Could she hope for any other result? Let's not be naive... Serena's footfalls accelerated as she made a quick detour for the Riverside, where the Gangrel clans usually roamed. Usually. If they were to make an appearance here, she would show no mercy. No patience for this kind of shit.

She pulled out her smartphone and dialed in an emergency line.

"Serena Perras, over and out."

She sent out the message to those who mattered, at least by her account. This was a new brand of clusterfuck and now, she still had to deal with whatever Silas did. That's right. She had not forgotten. Silas went back on his word, he had to have something to do with Marcus' Childe's demise. Did he realize what that meant?! She tapped in another message, on a coded channel.

We need to talk...

Silas could not pull this shit without her knowing. Her very position in Erebos depended on it - unless the head of Maledictus simply stopped giving a shit for some reason? Why? What advantage did he have over the enemy that made him this extraordinarily bold??

"I hate my job..."

Ducking into a wide alleyway, Storm ran like the wind, eager to get back to a Maledictus Elysium, before more shit hit the fan.

Storm exits scene.

Liam drove slowly down the street, after having made his delivery to the local pawn shop. He caught sight of a stranger (Elena) disappearing off into the shadows and drove past her, speeding up as he neared the Riverside. That area was often frequented by Gangrel gangs, but Liam kept out of that, content to do his own thing. Even so, he did take a glimpse of a truck leaving the area, along with the broken glass in the vicinity.

"Kids and their games."

Tapping into his radio, he quickly relayed a message to Sariel.

"Yo, it's Wrath. The Toreador has been taken."

The Chevrolet Silverado turned the corner as Liam headed for his own neck of the woods...

"Blessed be Lilith and her Wisdom. Praise Her coming and Her going. May Her passage cleanse the world. May She keep the world for Her people."

The Gangrel muttered the words closely as he followed the tracks of the truck that carried Ursula Bellefleur away with the Brotherhood, away from her intended destination.

Sariel picked up the radio - a civilian CB and thus not encrypted - and growled at the interruption. He had one of his favorite blood dolls passed out at his feet. He hated interruptions.

"This is an open channel. Follow and observe, report once they get wherever they're going then RTB. Out." He tossed the microphone to the side whilst getting up from his chair. He wasn't sated - yet. He went looking for another helping.
