Rubì was uncomfortable. The dress she was wearing was pretty enough, all tight and clingy. But the thing about tight and clingy dresses, they are a bitch to move around in. There was a good reason why she prefered pants and more practical clothes. In dresses, there was impossible to hide any weapons, to kick anyone or even run in a good way. But here she was. All dresses up, wearing makeup and even with her hair curled and put up all skillfully. Thank god for this materialistic society where you could pay people to do shit like this for you, Rubì had never even touched a curling wand in her life.

Looking away from her own reflection in the car window she cast a look at David and almost rolled her eyes. He hadn't cleaned up bad himself, but she was seriously envying the jacket and pants. So much easier to hide weapons in. All she had been able to do was strap a small knife to her leg, so luckily the wooden pins that held her hair up could be used as stakes.

"I don't understand why we need to attend the party. Let's just bomb the whole place, or ambush the leeches when they leave."

Annoyed, she shuffled in her seat, trying to correct her dress. Who was really sitting just as it was supposed to do, she was just uncomfortable. Also, she knew that they had to go to the party. Erasmus had explained that he needed access to the main computers. A simple hack through emails or cellphones wouldn't cut it. But despite being a good hunter. Rubì had a tendency to be a brat. So when uncomfortable, she complained, not caring much who she was complaining to. And adding to her comfort, instead of partnering up with Erasmus or Stephen who she could actually tolerate, she had to do this with David?!

The old man wanna take a stroll on the dangerous side. Show everyone that he is still a hunter and not a bureaucrat. He is on to me... He can almost smell how much I wanna take his place. Feeling like he needs to prove himself.

She laughed internally and kept looking at David her usual annoyed frown.

David was sitting comfortably in the back of the stretch limo, his right leg calmly crossed over his left as he watched Rubi squirm. He was used to the trappings of power and wealth, and the display of such frivolities. It was quite clear she was not - and he reveled in it. The woman was as ambitious as he was, and he had felt for some time she wanted to lead the Brotherhood. He had also heard grumblings about himself. About him no longer partaking in any missions, of no longer leading from the front. Tonight's mission was to quell such talk, and to put the young miss Caldera in her place.

He knew that Stephen hadn't wanted him to do this, that the Marshal thought he was more valuable as the leader of the Brotherhood than as a spy. Not to mention that he hadn't been in the field in years and was rusty. David smiled inwardly. Stephen, my ever trusty right hand. The one man I can trust to have my back. Looking over Rubi in her gorgeous dress, he couldn't help but admire her beauty. Though it was as if he was admiring a beautiful sculpture, not a member of the opposite sex. He admired her skill set too. He didn't have a better infiltrator and Hunter, and she had trained under Stephen ever since her coming of age.

Looking out the window, he saw that they'd soon be arriving at their destination, time to get in the zone. He suddenly felt the need to curb her usual violent tendencies. "You know very well why we can't bomb this place and turn it into a smoking crater. We need the information this conglomerate has in order to further our own information on Imogen Cybernetics and Erebos. Their networks are not connected to an outside network, such as the internet. Everything is on a hardwired company intranet. We must get a physical connection to that network and hook in our remote access router." He pats his side where the device was currently disguised as an insulin pump. "But you know all this Rubi. It was covered by Erasmus in the mission briefing. Or were you too distracted by his smile to listen, hmm?"

He smirked slightly as he dug into her just a little bit. He wanted her to know he had eyes and ears everywhere, even within the Brotherhood itself. He reached over, taking the cane he was using for this mission and placing it across his lap. It was also a sword, but it wasn't immediately apparent. You couldn't even unsheath it unless you knew where to grab in order to release the clamps inside. "So my dear, are you ready to be my arm candy for the evening? We're almost there."

Giving him a stare that told him just how boring she thought what he was saying was. She was well aware that she was one of the best hunters he had. Which was why she felt she could take the liberty of not showing him all the respect he deserved. Especially since she also had about no respect for the man, but no one needed to know that. To everyone else, she was just a hot head. A blunt weapon with extraordinary power. The comment about Erasmus' eyes made her snort and roll her eyes though.

"Oh please. As if a pretty smile is what it takes to distract me."

Turning to look bored out the window again. Erasmus was a sweet enough guy. And that was the problem, he was just too sweet. There was no challenge in him, no excitement. Just... Bored flirting because she could. Ignoring the way David shuffled and reached for his cane, she went over the mission details in her head. No matter how much she disliked this whole operation, she was focused on getting it done. But her focus was quickly drawn back to him as his latest poke at her nerves fell.

Huffing amused she turned with a sly smirk and her nicest puppy eyes.

"I am ready to PLAY the part of arm candy. Don't mistake my acting for reality."

Looking out the window again she grabbed the shawl she was wearing over her shoulders and wrapped it around herself. Then while taking her small purse she cracked her neck and took a deep breath. She honestly hated stuck up rich people. Turning to David she gave him her best honestly worried look.

"Are you sure you are up for this Jefe? There is no shame in leaving field work to the younger generation you know."

Giving Rubi a grin, he waited for the car to pull up to the front of the residence and alighted from the vehicle as the driver opened the door. Standing there, he reached back inside the car, holding his hand for Rubi to take. Once she climbed out, he'd anchor her on his left arm as they walked up the stairs. At the top, they'd be met by an obvious security man. "Invitation please."

Shifting his cane to his left hand and reaching into his jacket with his right, David pulled out the invitation and handed it to the man. The man didn't say thank you, just took the invitation and slid one end of it into a reader. There was a chip, much like a credit card chip, on that end. The reader was about the size of a Blackberry, seemed to work for a bit and then flashed up an image of David. The man looked at the image, then up to David. "Welcome to the party Mr. Sanctus." He glanced at Rubi. "I take it this is your plus one?" The man clearly eyed Rubi from head to toe. Some would take it as he was enjoying her figure. The man was really wondering if she had any places to stash weapons. Seeing that it was unlikely, he looked back to David.

David smiled, taking the invitation back from the man. "Thank you. I keep things like this, as mementos you see. I like to remember an excellent evening." The man stepped aside, waving for them to go in. He led Rubi by the arm inside the room. The foyer was grand, the size of a mid-sized hall with a giant crystal chandelier handing from the ceiling. He could only imagine what other decadence was in this house. He looked around, feigning interest in all the fancy crap the house had to offer.

Leaning his head over, he whispered to Rubi. "Ready to have some fun my dear?" The last two words were almost dripping with sarcasm.

It pleased her that he chose not to address her question with more than a grin. Fine. She would play along. Pretend that she took the grin as an "I am all good for this." While in reality. She was hoping something would go wrong and that David tragically wouldn't return from the mission. Seeing the car come to a stop she took a deep breath and put on her chosen mask for the evening. Slightly drunk bimbo.

Plastering a stupid smile on her lips she took David's hand and came out of the car with a slight stumble and giggle. Hanging on his arm she made sure to caress it as they walked, intent on making it seem like she was loving every minute of being there. Even if inside her mind all there was was a long tirade of Spanish profanities.

"Evenin' Sir."

She said with a new giggle in her voice when the security guard asked if she was the plus one. Of course, she noticed the way he looked at her, how it was disguised as checking her out. So to play her part she arched her back a bit for him, like she was really thinking he was looking at her curves. Better his focus lingered on her hips, then further down on her legs where she was actually hiding weapons. Moments later they entered the party and Rubì made sure to look over her shoulder and wink at the guard before she focused on David again.

"Oh you know me darling, I am always up for some fun. But first, drinks and a tour of the place?"

It was almost so she had trouble calling him darling without wanting to hurl. A bitter taste spreading in her mouth as her eyes wandered over the foyer and pulled the shawl off her shoulders. With a well-placed giggle, she leaned into his ear and looked like she was whispering sweet nothings in it.

"I can see the door down to the basement where the computer is. No guard directly outside it, but I can spot six of them wandering around in a random pattern. Professionals. They are not looking at the door as to not draw attention to it. Also, they are all armed, I can spot hidden holsters under their jackets and ankles. Heavy security for just a party don't you think?"

Sometimes. Eidetic memory was a godsend. Coupled with years of experience, it made it easy to do the recon of a place. Leaning away from him just as a waitress walked past them she made a typical feminine "oh" sound and waved the lady over. Reaching out she grabbed a glass of champagne and smiled at the lady.

David walked the beat of the place with Rubi on his arm, smiling a fake smile and saying hello with fake words. He'd happily slaughter everyone in this room for having connections to Kindred taint that rests upon Mankind like a stain, but he'd have to keep the blade in his cane hidden for now. Listening to Rubi as she spoke, he cataloged all that she told him and held onto it for later. After she got her champagne and the serving lady moved off and they were alone-ish, he spoke to her.

"I need to get inside the basement and to the servers in order to attach my wireless router. We will have to come up with a suitable distraction for the guards, or a suitable reason to be down there alone."

Moving through the gallery, he stopped at a painting that hung on the wall near to the stairs leading down to the basement. "Ah, St. Michael the Archangel, patron saint of...well many things, soldiers being one of them." He seemed to study the painting for a moment, before sighing. "Too bad it's a fake. Real one is in Rome. I wouldn't tell the owner that though."

Before he could say anything more, a voice was heard from behind. "You wouldn't tell me what?" As they turned around, it was none other than Señor Juan Santiago Hernández García, the CEO and founder of MexiCal Pharmaceuticals. And the owner of the computer servers they wanted to infiltrate. "Tell me, Mister...?" David quickly got into the act as he reached out to shake the man's hand. "I'm David Sanctus, and you must be Senor Hernandez, it is a pleasure to meet you." He introduces Rubi next. "This is my future ex-wife, Gabriella."

He turned to face the painting. "What I didn't want you to know, was that this beautiful piece of artwork here, is sadly a fake. The real one is in the custody of the Vatican in Rome. Have you ever been to Rome Senor Hernandez? I was there a decade ago. There was this little cafe not far from the Holy See, just big enough for a couple tables outside but they made the BEST grilled octopus with gigante beans and oregano, mmm, it was to die for. I'd fly back there just to have another plate."

Their host didn't look the least bit interested in what David had to say, he seemed more interested in someone that just arrived. "If you'll excuse me Mr. Sanctus, Miss Gabriella, I must leave you." With a short nod, he was off, heading for a man that just entered. He was slightly pale but otherwise appeared normal. If it wasn't for the fact that they had a file on the man, they wouldn't have known that he was none other than Vittorio LaGuardia, the CEO of Imogen Cybernetics - and a vampire.

"Looks like our evening got more interesting my dear."

."Suitable distraction eh? That was something that Rubì was good at. Everything from a small kitchen fire, to a makeshift bomb, would probably do the trick. Most people were not aware of how simple household items could easily make a small bomb. While hanging on to David's arm she tried to discreetly catch a glimpse of where the kitchen was. If David thought he was getting down into that basement without her, he was going to be sorely disappointed.

"That shouldn't be too hard to manage."

They had moved over to a painting and Rubì just cast it a faked interesting look as she listened to what David had to say about it. Her eyes fell on it and she took a moment to take it in before she held back a shrug. It was pretty enough, but Rubì had never been one to care much about art. And that was not going to change now, after all, she was playing the role of the dumb bimbo.

Suddenly there was a man beside them. One he easily recognized from what they knew of the guest list. Sipping her champagne she sent the man a few flirtatious looks. Especially when David introduced her.

"Let's at least make it to the wedding first cariño."

She could see that the man did not like hearing that his painting was fake. And she almost found a tiny piece of respect for David's way of crushing the man's illusions. But before more could unfold, she could see him lose interest and look at someone that just arrived. Arching a brow she looked over David's shoulder and almost genuinely looked surprised before she caught herself again.

"Dios mio. Didn't see that name on our intel." Her voice was barely a whisper. Not wanting the unexpected guest to hear what she had to say, but hopefully, David would be able to catch it. "We need that distraction sooner, rather than later. If I can get into the kitchen I can cook something up that will make just the right amount of spectacle. Set it off next to tall dark and pale there and hope he catches fire at the same time."

Leaning away from his ear again she wiggled her eyebrows before looking around. Downing the last of her champagne she tried to decide on the right way to get to the kitchen. It would normally be closed for guests, but maybe they could find a good reason to go there? A fainting woman usually did the trick. It was unoriginal and unimaginative, and at the same time, highly effective.

"Play along."

Suddenly she grabbed David's arm and gasped softly, rubbing her head as she groaned. "Oh, my head..." And without a warning she suddenly collapsed on the floor, seemingly having fainted.

David went with the ruse and swept down towards the 'fainted' Rubi. "Someone help, my fiancee has feinted!" Almost immediately some of the staff rushed over, including two Security guards. One of them immediately started asking the usual questions. "What happened? Is she a diabetic?" David cut them off. "Sometimes she gets light headed around crowds. Can we take her to the kitchen? The smell of food usually helps her out."

The guards readily obliged as they helped her stand up, taking her towards the kitchen. Once ensconced in a corner away from the staff, one of the guards asked if anything else was needed. "Just some water," David told the man. After the guard brought back the glass of water and departed, David sat the glass next to Rubi on the counter. He leaned in close, as if he was kissing her cheek and whispered, "Good job, you're in the kitchen."

The "fainted" Rubì felt how the men took hold of her and began helping her to the kitchen. Just as she planned. Men. Sometimes they were so hopelessly unpredictable. But she had to hand it to David. It wasn't just her acting performance that was selling it. The worried tone of his voice was perfect to anyone but her. She could still hear the faint undertone of distaste.

Once placed in the kitchen she came a little back to life and searched for Davids' hand. Like she was upset and needed some comfort. Groaning she sat up a bit and touched her forehead, trying to brush away her discomfort as she heard one of the guards come over with some water to her. Feeling David lean in she opened her eyes a little and smiled weakly, taking comfort in the kiss to her cheek. But as soon as they were alone she looked at him and smirked.

"Of course it worked. Speak to the protective instinct of men and they become slaves to that instinct."

Looking around the kitchen she could see that there were not much staff at the moment. They had to be on break until more food needed to be prepped and served. It shouldn't be too hard to find the three ingredients she needed.

"I need a plastic container we can seal, and items with high amounts of Chlorine and Glycol Ethers to mix in the container. Chlorine should be found in an industrial strength drain cleaner, and the ethers in any kind of cleaning aids. That one also preferably industrial strength."

Having been seated next to some cabinets she discreetly leaned over and started to look through them. She could see a sink and some cleaning aids over on the other side of the kitchen and with a nod to David she gestured for him to look over there while she searched for a container to mix it into. It didn't take long to find a plastic container the right small size for what she had in mind. Looking to the side she was surprised to find a bottle of the exact drain cleaner she had been thinking of. Brilliant.

Opening the container she poured a small amount of the drain cleaner into the box and then put it away quickly and looked at David. If he had found the right bottle she would take it from him and pause before she poured the content into the box.

"Once I add the Glycol Ethers in the box, we have about two minutes until it goes bang. So we need to have a plan before I do it. Where do we want the explosive?"

Moving quickly to start rummaging through the cabinets, David starts looking at the bottles of products, whilst glancing at the other side of the kitchen. As he was doing so, he found a back part of the kitchen that had discarded linens along with what appeared to be cigarette butts. A perfect place to set a fire. As he continued to work through the cabinets, he found a bottle of lacquer thinner that had Ethoxyethanol in it.

Bringing it back to Rubi, he held it out for her to see. "I think this is what you need. Also, there is a room at my seven o'clock that has discarded linens and cigarette butts. Looks like the employees use it for their smoke breaks. Perfect place I think to set a small fire."

Turning to look back for any guards, he continued speaking. "Once it's set, I'll bring you out to a small sofa I saw near to the basement entrance. If any guards stop me, I'll say I saw it, and it looked like a comfortable place to let you rest on. Once the show starts, should be easy to get into the basement. Sound good to you?"

It sounded fantastic to him, but at this point she was lead as pyrotechnics were her thing, not his. He may have been the Grandmaster, but he knew when to take a back seat to his own ego.

Casting a glance up at the bottle held before her she paused long enough to look at the label. She didn't as much read the text as looked for a few keywords taken from pictures in her memory before she nodded. It would do the trick. Probably prolong the detonation with a few seconds, but nothing that would interfere with their plan. Taking the bottle she listened to what he said and cast a look over his shoulder. And agreed, the room would be perfect.

Pouring an equal amount of the liquid from the bottle to the plastic container, she threw the bottle in a cabinet while shaking the now-closed container in her hand.

"It's ready, let's go."

Pointing for him to head for the door, she headed for the linen room. When close enough she slid the container across the floor and into the room, before meeting up with him by the door. Back now in her role as sick fiance, she wrapped her arm around him and leaned in close. Letting him "support" her out of the kitchen

Just as they came out of the door they were met by a guard, and for a moment Rubì thought he was going to stop them. But she gave him her best weak pathetic smile and he continued past them to the kitchen. She held back the urge to look after him. Hopefully, the box blew up before he could find it. Nothing she could do at this point but hold on to David and let him help her to the sofa.

Every fibre of her being vibrating with disgust for the man she now relied on to have her back. It was almost enough to make her shudder, to ferociously push him away from her and never touch him again unless with the sharp end of the blade. But there were more pressing matters. What good did revenge do if she wasn't alive to enjoy it? So she held her mask. Smiled at the others around them and sat down on the couch clutching David's hand like it gave her strength.

"60 seconds."

She whispered as she leaned close, nuzzling his shoulder with an almost real flirtatious smile. Dark eyes darting discreetly around the room to map out everyone there. And in particular, a certain fanged someone they had seen arrive.

David held her like the good 'fiance' that he was pretending to be. Showing concern for his bride to be - all the while pondering leaving her here for the pasty white guy they had seen earlier. They had a mission to accomplish though, and he had a position to cement as the tried and true leader of the Brotherhood of Orion. He wouldn't let this upstart take that away from him. He had earned that right, and he would keep it.

He leaned in closer to her, whispering, "Once that goes off and it's noticed, we'll have to move quickly to get downstairs and get the router in place. I'm not sure how the bloody thing works, but Erasmus said all we have to do is hook it up and turn it on, it will work it's magic automatically."

He kept an eye towards the kitchen when he..he almost felt a small thump reverberate through the walls. He wouldn't have noticed it if he wasn't expecting it. Shortly after that, he could see Security guards rushing towards the kitchen, others trying to keep guests calm. With their distraction now in full swing, he said one word to Rubi.

"Move."

He moved away from her towards the steps to the basement. Once there, he'd hold the door open for Rubi so they could descend down, and begin the true part of their mission. He'd let her start looking for the servers as he started fiddling with this jacket and shirt in an attempt to get at the router secreted away inside of his 'insulin pump'. He had to loosen the belt of his pants to get to it though. He was suddenly wishing he had worn underwear...

A subtle nod was all that she gave as a reply. She was keeping count on the seconds left for the explosion and trying to stop excessive Spanish tirade of profanity that was a permanent part of this mission. At least as long as David kept holding her tight like now. Almost precisely on her count, she could feel the explosion in the wall behind them. And moments later people rushed to the kitchen.

On the order she straightened and got on her feet, following him over to the door and hurried down the stairs before anyone could see them. Grabbing her long and annoying skirts she lifted them above her knees so she could move more easily. Coming down the stairs it was not hard to find the room with the servers. It looked a lot like Erasmus little hole, but this was cleaner and had more blue lights.

Dropping her purse on the desk in front of the servers she began looking for the right one.

"I got it. Where is the router?"

Looking over her shoulder at David she couldn't help but wonder what the hell he was doing before looking away again. It was too hard not to mock him about how that had looked.

Literally caught with his pants around his knees.

She snorted at her own mental joke, and tried to focus on the mission again. They didn't have much time before someone would come check.

Finally done fighting with his outfit, he disconnected the router from the fake insulin pump and held it in his left hand. His right hand was busy holding up his trousers. Ignoring her request for the router, he made his way over to where she had found the main server. Standing there awkwardly next to her, his pants not entirely secure, he fumbled to attach the router to a USB port.

It took him three attempts to get the router hooked up to the USB port. He had activated the router before attaching it and as kept fumbling with it, costing them precious seconds. He gave it a few curses that were not proper for a man of his station and religious views before the little blue light on the router came on, showing it was now powered up and drawing power through the port.

He stood there waiting for the rest of the lights on the router to light up, showing that it was syncing and sending data - but nothing was happening. He got irritated with the thing. "Why aren't you bloody working?" His voice was a little too loud, though he didn't know it. It's amazing how someone can overlook something as simple as turning the unit off and back on again. The Grand Master of the Brotherhood of Orion was definitely out of his element here, and it was showing.

Feeling like a wallflower she was standing there next to the desk looking at him. And the image before her didn't exactly change her opinion of David being an old useless man.

You would be doing the world, and the brotherhood favour to get rid of him. Accidents happen all the time at field missions...

Rubì had to agree with the discussion that was going on in her head. Sure, people would question it. Stephen in particular, but on the other hand... She couldn't be blamed if a man too old for field work had gotten himself killed? She kept watching him struggle and when he finally had gotten the drive, he went on to struggle with the computers.

Rolling her eyes she wanted to tell him he was doing it wrong. That he was spending precious seconds they did not have, but eventually she actually just shoved him away.

"We don't have the fucking time for you to have a senior citizen moment"

Grabbing the router and pushing a few buttons she gestured to the router for David. That had already powered up and was working just as Erasmus had said it would.

"Tadaa."

She said sarcastically before rolling her eyes and shaking her head. Looking down on the half off pants she snorted and walked towards the door.

"Get those back on, we need to leave."

Glaring daggers at the woman as she fixed the problem that he couldn't, he kept his anger in check - barely. Making a fuss as to check over the router and made sure it was doing what it was supposed to be doing; even though he actually couldn't tell, he nodded in satisfaction before stepping back from the work station. He was still comically holding his pants up with one hand and finally remembering this, he went about getting himself re-situated.

"The...device could take a while, depending on how well the system's firewall and security is." He really had no idea what that meant, but he was repeating what Erasmus had told them before during the mission briefing. She knew this, and he knew she knew this, but he knew him telling her things she already knew would annoy her to no end. "We might have to hide it inside the case and hope no one finds it until after we leave."

He went over to a nearby desk and sat on the edge of it. He was in the process of removing the fake insulin pump when he heard a sound that sent a chill up his spine...

The door at the top of the stairs clicked.

He whispered to Rubi as he heard the door swing open. "Shit, someone's coming!" He didn't quite yell, but his voice was quite urgent. He desperately looked around for somewhere to hide - but the space was side open with the server boxes backed against the walls with minimal space for ventilation, and that was it. The shit was about to hit the fan, and David was standing there like a deer in headlights...

Seeing David check on the router she rolled her eyes and didn't even try to hide it. As if he knew what he was doing... Made even more evident by the way he found it helpful to relist everything Erasmus had said. She felt like reminding him of her eidetic memory. And the fact that Erasmus had said this, mostly, to her. Since he knew she was good with computers, not quite Erasmus levels, but well enough to be able to keep up with him. Shooting daggers at David she ignored him.

Pacing on the floor she raked a hand through her hair and wished for a hair tie. She was more than done with walking around in this ridiculous dress and heels. For a moment she daydreamed about her tight pants and leather jackets. Only to be jerked out of it by the urgent voice of David. Her eyes widened a moment, and as she watched, the honourable grand master of the brotherhood, froze.

She knew she had seconds to come up with a plan. There was absolutely nothing useful in the room that could help them. She was armed, and so was David, but the ruckus of a battle could draw more down...

Scream girl... Make a scene. One good hit to your own nose and you will make it seem like David is abusing you... Get him killed in battle...

Oh, it was tempting... Almost too tempting. But it wasn't right, not yet. If they got out of this mess, she could spread rumours, undermine him. So next time... No one would question his death.

Guess she had to go for the second best thing then. Looking over at David she could see that his pants were still not properly in place, giving her an idea.

"On the floor. Now."

Had she had a moment to think she would have loved that she was ordering him around. But there was no time, instead, she grabbed her dress and with a good yank, she pulled it down, exposing her breasts. Tussling her hair she grabbed David and got him on his back on the floor, yanking down his pants around his ankles before climbing on top of him. She could hear the steps outside the door now and pulled her dress up around her hips before she leaned down and began kissing him. Her hips rolling over him as if she was completely lost in a moment of heat. Grabbing his hands she laid them around her breasts while trying not to vomit straight into his mouth.

"On the floor. Now."

He just looked at her aghast. Who does she think she is, ordering me, the Grand Master of the Brotherhood of Orion? And what does she mean, get on the floor? Before he had a chance to properly formulate any sort of response, she had yanked the front of her dress down, exposing her breasts to him. He couldn't help but stare as she pretty much threw him to the floor. He was trying to put up some sort of defense before her assault began upon his person. He was getting angry...until she kissed him.

He seemed to lose all conscious and coherent thinking as their lips danced together. He felt her climb on top of him, their exposed groins rubbing together as she mimicked the motions of mating, completely lost in the passion of the moment. Instinctively his hands went to her backside and started rubbing as he felt blood flowing to where it shouldn't be.

No, I'm breaking my vows! We shouldn't be doing this!

But the mission comes first. The mission...

All coherent thinking stopped at that point as he felt warmth envelope him. A wise man once said, that God gave man a brain and a penis and only enough blood to run one at a time. His brain was definitely NOT getting it's allotment of oxygenated blood at this moment. He had just broken his vows...and then the guard came into view. Please forgive me Lord...Hail Mary's! ...do Hail Mary's later...

"Hey, you're not supposed to be in here! You're..." He diverted his gaze. "I'm so sorry, Sir. Ma'am. But you're not supposed to be in here." Breaking his kiss from Rubi whilst keeping up the motions they were doing, David looked at the guard and breathlessly spoke. "We're working on a son, we'll be out soon." He went back to kissing Rubi as he felt warmth flood from within him and flow into her. He let out a groan and instincts once again kicked in as he pulled her hips tight to him. Oh shit... Thought it would take longer...

"Very good sir, I'll ah...I'll be back in ten minutes. Please be gone by then." The guard then turned around and proceeded back up the steps, the door closing with an audible click.

It had worked. He looked up at her, a look of wonder on his face, which then turned a tad more somber.

She's gonna kill me.

The fuck does he think he is doing?...

Okay. So it had been her plan. And it was a good plan. Most people would get more uncomfortable then angry when supposedly walking in on a couple going at it. But she hadn't exactly wanted it to become a real act.

She wanted to smack him. Wanted to shove him off her with a banshees scream and hit and hit until not even God would recognize his face. But she couldn't. Because at that moment the guard came in. Forcing a blush she squealed embarrassed and wrapped her arms over her breasts, covering them up. Even as David seemingly kept going. She even managed to force herself to blush even more when he told the guard they were working on a son, her look, the one of a woman that wanted to disappear in the ground.

When the guard said he would be back in ten, she nodded and hid her... How should I put it...? Delighted and disgusted surprise?

The moment the guard was out of sight she turned and glared at David. It was clear in her eyes that she wanted to smack him across the face. But slowly it turned to a mocking smirk.

"Don't worry boss. Even the most experienced men do that around me"

Chuckling to herself, hiding the burning disgust she felt she got off him and felt his surprise trickle down her thighs. Pulling up her dress and correcting the skirts she looked back at him, still mockery clear in her eyes.

"Nice to see that even the Grandmaster is just a human when it comes to beautiful women. I wonder what the rest of the men would say if they knew."

Wiggling her eyebrows she laughed a bit more and gave him time to fix his clothes as she checked the device. And while she looked at it, it turned green. Done. Grabbing the device out of the server she turned and threw it at him, so he could hook it up like an insulin pump again. Walking past him she looked out the door.

"We should get going. I am sure we would have had the time for another round but... I think we should focus on the mission, don't you?"

David slowly returned to his senses as he suddenly felt cold where he had felt warmth only moments before. Blinking his eyes back into focus, he was honestly surprised she had taken her knife and buried it in his chest. Getting to his feet and shoving himself back into his pants, he glared at her. "That was not by choice. You used your..your womanly wiles on me, causing me to break my vows."

You enjoyed it. You're just as guilty as she is.

Taking the router from Rubi he reassembled the fake insulin pump before finishing buttoning up his pants. He admitted to himself that he regretted seeing her get dressed, and it was an image that he'd carry with him the rest of days. For now though, they had to get out of there. He gathered his cane and made for the stairs. He stopped at the door though, and turned to look at Rubi.

"Not a word of this. It would not do for either of us if this came to the light of day."

He didn't give her a chance to respond as he held out his elbow. "Come my dear, time for us to play the doting couple once more. And time for us to leave." As he gave her a wink - yes the Grand Master gave her a cheeky wink, he opened the door. He was prepared to thank the Guard for his discretion...but instead of the guard, stood none other than Vittorio LaGuardia. The Guard was dead, drained of blood.

The grin on Victor's face would have flipped Satan's belly.
